Sending Receipts to Myver

Before sending receipts to Myver, confirm you have the three core objects in place: a brand, at least one store, and a source. Each receipt references this trio so we can route it to the correct merchant profile and integration.

  1. Create a brand

    Create the brand in the Merchant Portal and note the resulting brandId (for example br-33NGj4Ro53Iaw1xnZMjZu7Ym2Dd). The brandId becomes part of every downstream object.

  2. Create a store

    Create the store either in the Merchant Portal or programmatically via the API. The example below links the store to the brand you created in step one:

    Terminal window
    curl -i "https://api.prod.myver.tech/v1/stores" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -H "Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN" \
    -d '{
    "brandId": "br-33NGj4Ro53Iaw1xnZMjZu7Ym2Dd",
    "name": "ACME Quality Apparel",
    "address": "42 Market Street, Dublin D02 XF85",
    "countryCode": "IE",
    "vatId": "IE8453927K"
    }'
  3. Create a source

    Create a source with a simple API call. Use a clear description so you can trace receipts back to their upstream system:

    Terminal window
    curl -i "https://api.prod.myver.tech/v1/sources" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -H "Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN" \
    -d '{
    "type": "receipts",
    "description": "CashWave Technologies Point of Sale"
    }'

With the prerequisites in place, record the identifiers you will reuse in your integration. The examples below reference:

  • sourceId: src-33MxMq4MYpTSMw4xgkW9mGSe9p0
  • storeId: st-33MxMppykHWC9eb3tSjWqWEK8qg

That is all you need to start sending receipts.

You can also run the full flow (auth, store, source, and receipt) from the command line using our public API quickstart script. Download it, add your clientId and clientSecret in the script, then execute it.

Use the POST /sources/{sourceId}/receipts endpoint to submit each receipt. Replace the IDs and payload values with the details from your integration, following the receipt structure:

Terminal window
curl -i "https://api.prod.myver.tech/v1/sources/src-33MxMq4MYpTSMw4xgkW9mGSe9p0/receipts" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN" \
-d '{

The API returns a 201 Created response with a receiptUrl — the URL where the receipt can be viewed:

{
"receiptUrl": "https://receipts.myver.io/#1a2b3c..."
}

This URL can be embedded in QR codes printed on physical receipts or sent directly to customers. Myver validates the payload, associates the receipt with the provided store and source, and makes it available across the Myver network with its structure preserved.
